How the chase multiple is calculated
Cards are ranked by chase multiple descending. The card with the highest multiple is the worst value to chase in packs.
- Chase multiple = cost for 90% pull chance ÷ single card EUR price.
- Cost for 90% = ceil(log(0.1) / log(1 − rate)) × pack price.
- Only cards with both a tracked price and pull rate are included. Cards with missing or zero prices are excluded.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why should I buy singles instead of opening packs?
If you want one specific card, opening packs is statistically expensive. The expected cost to pull a rare card from packs is almost always higher than buying it directly. The chase multiple shows how many times more expensive packs are versus buying the single.
What does the chase multiple mean?
The chase multiple is the ratio of the estimated 90%-chance pack cost to the single card price. For example, a 10× multiple means that reaching a 90% pull chance costs about 10 times what the card is worth as a single.
Are there any cards worth chasing in packs?
